Administrative Hearings
If you have been fired or laid off from your job, you need answers quickly. You have no money and the car payment is due. Your boss doesn’t give you a reason for firing you. What are your rights? We pride ourselves in taking the time to answer your questions and explain your rights.
Colorado, like most states, follows the doctrine of employment-at-will. Employment-at-will means the employer can fire an employee with or without cause at anytime without liability to the employee. Also, the employee can leave his employment with or without cause at anytime without liability to the employer.
There exists many exceptions to employment-at-will, including discrimination, public policy, and whistle blowing. At Wilson & Hassler, we can assist you through this difficult time and review your options with you. We will aggressively represent you and your interests.
